THE Grace Theological Institute (GTI) Series is written to present the Grace of God in all its manifestations. When it comes to the understanding of Grace of God, many of us are halve-baked. Many Christians are narrow-minded on this subject; they believe that the Grace of God starts and ends with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sins of mankind. No doubt this is the greatest gift to man. However, it is one of the five forms of Grace of God. Three of the five forms of Grace are shared with unbelievers and are referred to as universal grace.
Many Christians tend to shy away from discussions that involve the universal grace of God on unbelievers; they do not want to believe that there is any grace of God on any other than believers. Reformed theologian, Arthur Pink, in Attributes of God wrote:
Grace is a perfection of the Divine character which is exercised only toward the elect.
This kind of Jonah-like statement, in the attempt not to sugar cote the world, has kept the Church out of reality for centuries. Jonah could not understand why God should extend His grace towards cities like Nineveh (Assyrians) full of sinners and Israel’s enemy. Pink’s statement tends to diminish God. God’s grace is upon all humans. Obviously, Pink was referring to the grace of salvation in his statement. In Grace Theological Institute series, Pastor Olowe provides the fundamental teachings that every human must know about God and His Will for mankind. These fundamental teachings are two Gs of God: Grace of God and Gospel of God. In the first Part (Grace of God), Dr. Olowe has published 5 Volumes of book: Volume 1: The Five Forms of Grace (An Introduction) Volume 2: Material Grace (Matter and Time) Volume 3: Spiritual Grace (Psyche and Spirit) Volume 4: Divine Grace (Favor and Salvation) Volume 5: History of Grace Doctrine
