MIRROR OF CHANGE
Introduction:
Many people future had been destroyed at their teenager aged, while many homes had been in danger list of satanic attack since their early age. If we ask many Christian about their tomorrow or their future, their answer is no greater or success future for them. Many will says, nothing good is awaiting for them tomorrow. They based there answer on their present situation and what they are passing through now. Their believe is that no good things for them since their today is biter, full of disappointment, full of frustration, sickness, barrenness, poverty etc.
Beloved, your future started from this moment, because what you will become tomorrow is as a result of what you do today. And what you are today is as result of what you did yesterday. Your future is in your hand, is either you destroy it or you develop it. It’s either you fulfill it or you frustrate it. No matter your present situation, God is ready to change you.
THE PRINCIPLES OF CHANGE
Choose to Change:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” Isaiah 1:9
Be determining to change, to have a good future. Change is personal. Until you make a quality decision to do whatever it takes to change from your present situation to glorious future, you ‘Il never experience the result of your desire. Decide that you’re going to change from negative situation to positive situation from sickness to success, from poverty to prosperity, from disappointment in order to become what God says about you. You must start doing things that will prove that you want to change.
Begin to do things that will change your life, your business and your family as a whole. What you determined to do or become is prove in your action. Instead of looking backward, press forward. Instead you focus on man just focus on the perfect God. If you’re faithfully determined, you will reach you goals (Dan. 18:8-20). Don’t say it with your mouth, but let your action speaks. Faith is not work until action speaks.
Change what you do in your right time:
What you’re doing at a particular time is what matter most in your life.
“There is a time for every purpose and for every work” Eccl. 3:17.
Many people end up in failure and unfruitful because they are doing good things not right things. A lot of people are busy, but not effective, while many were active but not progressive because they were doing good things not right thing. Fore example, Martha and Many (Luke 10:38-42). Martha was cumbered about much serving-cooked in the kitchen, while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet, heard His word. Both of them are doing thing at a time but the difference is this: Martha is doing good things, while Mary did the right thing God will not reward you for doing good things but reward you for doing right things-what He told you to do.
In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus said “They shall come to me and say have we not done many good things in your name? And I will reply, I never knew you,” because you didn’t do the right at the right time. Instead for you to meditate in the Bible, you’re meditating in worldly books, instead to be in prayer room, you’re playing cards, and instead to watching Christian films, you’re watching worldly films. Don’t forget you are allowed to do anything, but not everything is helpful and beneficial. (I Corinthians 10:23) Therefore change from human mentality to spiritual mentality.
Change what your ear hears and what your eyes see:
The News many people desire to hear in the daily lives is bad news, negative things, and impossibility thing from radio, TV, Newspaper, gossipers, false prophets, even their friends. One of the greatest bad news across the world today is can any nation survive from her economic problem? When they hear such news, they interestingly believe that they too cannot survive from their hardship situation since such country is their home land. They forget what happened to Isaac in Gerar (Genesis 26:1-16).
If you want positive change in your life, you must stop hearing the bad news because it’s what you hear that you will speak out in your mind and what you keep in your mind is what you will become or act upon.
The Bible says “Faith come by hearing, hearing by the word of God” –Rom. 10:17,
Surely, fear or bad things come by hearing, the word of the devil. The word of devil is bad news, negative news, impossibility news. If you expect to become fit for God’s purpose, you must purge or separate yourself from any and every ungodly containment either a man or a thing.
Change your association:
One of the elements for successful life is partnership.
Bible says “Two are better than one: because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up” Eccl. 4:9-10.
The person or people you associate with will reflect in your deeds. If you associate with people without vision, you also will end up in visionless. If you partnership with bad people-evil people, your future will surely end up in destruction (Proverbs 10:28). Also, bad groups destroy good character (I Corinthians 15:33) If a person brings out the worst in you, then you need to make changes in your friendship.
Make a decision to change from the association that does not profit you. When Jacob associated with Laban, the whole life of Laban change and he experience living blessing (Gen. 30:27). If you want to become doctor, associate yourself with people who have the vision. It is foolish habit for a man have wanted to become pilot to go and partner with farmer in the bush. Associate yourself with great men of God who have greater and glorious future. Get out of murderer, thieves, fornicator, adultery etc. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
A lot of people believe in magic not in miracle, dissolve yourself from them, while many people believe in cheating before they will make it in life, don’t associate with them and some people behave in godly way to prosperity, partnership with hem. It’s when the woman with issue of blood for 12 years dissociate herself from earthly doctor and connected with Heavenly Doctor (Jesus Christ), her problem got solve (Luke 8:43-44).
Change your nature and thinking:
“I have heard Israel saying: You disciplined me severely, but I deserve it’s… I turn away from God, but then I was sorry, I kicked myself for my stupidity, I was thoroughly ashamed of all I did in my younger days (Jeremiah 31: 18-19).
Your younger age is your yesterday till this moment that you’re reading this message. What you put on is evidence of who you are or where you belong to. A child of God will put on righteousness, while the child of Satan will put on sinful nature. Sinful nature is a hindrance to greater future, while righteousness is a path way to greater future. Righteousness is one of the key to successful living (Proverbs 10:6). You must live a righteous life in order to achieve a positive change in your life.

Conclusion:
Brethren, it’s time for a change in your life, therefore start it now by speaking the word of God – the word of possibility. Practice it daily, be faith-filled, Bible based confessions in the area of your future. Anytime you recognize a thought contrary to the word of God, resist that thought and receive the Truth. (Philippians 4:8). Remain Blessed!
