A. ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
Candidates seeking admission to the Christ Apostolic Church Theological
Seminary should direct their enquiries to the Admission Office at the following
address:
The Registrar, Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary P. O.
Box 900, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
B. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
No students shall be admitted to either Certificate or Diploma Course in the
Seminary unless the following requirements are met:
a. Age Limit: Age Limit for the purpose of admission to this
Seminary shall not be less than 18 years as at 1st August of the year of
entry.
b. Admission to part one shall be partly on the basis of performance in
the Entrance Examination and interview conducted by the Seminary Admission and
Matriculation Board, Ile-Ife (SAMB).
c. Diploma in Religious Studies, Theology and Church Ministry (Three
Year Course):
(i) At least four credits in the WASC/GCE & S.S.C.E. Examination
including English at two sittings or;
(ii) Three credits in the WASC/GCE/SSCE Examination and two passes
including English Language at a sitting.
(iii) The Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with at least four or three
merits in approved subjects in not more than two sittings.
(iv) Candidates who have CAC Theological Seminary Certificate of
Theology with at least two years field experience may also be considered for
admission for Diploma in Church Ministry.
d. Certificate of Theology – Two Year Course:
(i) In addition, a candidate for Certificate of Theology must have at
least the following qualifications:
a. A secondary School Leaving Certificate or S75
Certificate b. Modern School Leaving Certificate. c. Primary Six
Leaving Certificate.
C. DEFERMENT OF ADMISSION:
i. Deferment of Admission is not normally granted to the Students in
CACTS (Matriculation [SAMB) Candidates).
ii. Applicants who are offered admission in the Seminary shall be
required to submit their birth Certificates or other acceptable evidence to
prove their age. They shall also provide the documentary evidence of their
academic qualifications for scrutiny during the
registration. iii. Students shall pay their tuition fees immediately on
admission as stated in the Regulations.
iv. Students shall, on admission, pay to the Seminary the fees
prescribed by Regulations.
